How to Become a Volunteer

Interested in joining the GHXCPC volunteer team? Here’s what to expect during the application process:

1. Apply

Click “Online Application” to be redirected to our secure Better Impact portal. You’ll be asked to create a profile and complete our online application form. This includes questions about your interests, availability, and relevant experience.

or click on “PDF Application” to download a pdf copy of the application form and submit via email or in person.

2. Interview

Once we receive your application, our team will contact you to schedule a brief interview. This helps us learn more about you and find the right volunteer role for your interests and skills.

3. References

We’ll request three references—these can be professional, academic, or personal (non-family).

4. Police Information Check

All volunteers are required to complete a police information check, which we will provide instructions for.

5. Orientation & Training

After your application is approved, you’ll attend an orientation session to learn more about our programs, policies, and how to get started as a volunteer.
