Go by Bike Week | Project 529 Bike Registration

  • Maple Tree Square 1 Water (map)

Celebrate Bike to Work Week with Us!

We’re hitting the bike lanes and helping keep your ride safe. Stop by one of our Project 529 Garage Bike Registration events and register your bike for free. It only takes a few minutes—and it’s one of the most effective ways to deter bike theft and increase the chances of getting your bike back if it’s stolen.

Why Register Your Bike?

  • Project 529 is a national bike registration database that connects riders, law enforcement, and the community to fight bike theft.

  • Registered bikes are far more likely to be recovered if stolen.

  • Each registration comes with a 529 shield sticker—a visible theft deterrent.

  • Best of all: It’s completely free at our events!

The Gastown Hastings Crossing Community Policing Centre (GHXCPC) team will be out at Maple Tree Square registering bikes. Bring your ride, say hello, and leave with peace of mind.

👉 Can’t make the event? No problem—contact our office and we’ll register your bike on the spot! (Don’t forget to bring your bike with you for registration.)
